Challenge & Jubilee Trophy
Here in St. John’s, both the Holy Cross men and women opened their tournaments with wins.
Holy Cross Nutraholdings Women opened with a 2-1 win over Banat FC Kitchener. In a thrilling, end-to-end battle, it was Jessie Noseworthy who sealed the win with a dramatic last-minute winner!
Holy Cross Men finished 1-0 against Halifax County thanks to a wonder strike from outside the box by Jacob Grant, and a composed clean sheet from Thomas Pieroway.
Elsewhere in Challenge Cup play, S’Pairs Optical CBS Strikers fell 5-0 to a tough NKMB Saints side.
In their Jubilee Trophy debut, St. John’s New Victorian Homes faced off against Caledon United. After a challenging first half, the team showed improved form in the second, but ultimately fell 3-0 in their opening match.

U17 Nationals - British Columbia
Paradise GU17 took care of business with a 4-1 win over Alberta, featuring a double from Gina Power and goals from Victoria Tuff & Athiei Achieck!
Feildians BU17 battled hard but came up short in a 2-0 defeat to Ontario.
U15 Nationals - PEI
Paradise BU15 with a solid display ended a 1-1 draw with Vancouver.
St. John’s BU15 came up short in a 4-1 loss to Edmonton.
Mount Pearl GU15 went head-to-head with Mount Hamlet in a closely fought match, narrowly falling 2-1 in the end.
