The NLSA is pleased to announce its Youth Players of the Month for June 2024:
BU12 Championship, Zack Nwokedi, Feildians

Zack has been an essential member of Feildians BU12 team this season. As a centre back, Zack
has used his pace and strength to keep attackers away from their net while also scoring
important goals for the team. He has also been a great leader for the team, pushing his
teammates to strive for success.
GU12 Championship - Bella Norman, MPSA

Bella Norman plays U12 with MPSA and leads the league in scoring with eight goals. She also
has two goals in two games for MPSA U13 in the Premier League. Bella is an explosive and
speedy attacking center midfielder who has fast footwork and strong shooting abilities with
both feet. Bella also sees the field very well and has great vision, which has also made her a
fantastic playmaker that often looks to pass and set up her teammates.
GU13 Premier - Madelyn Tremblett, Feildians

Currently the top goal scorer in the GU13 Premier League, Madelyn is a dynamic attacker with a
keen sense of how to put the ball in the net. She's a leader both on and off the field, a great
teammate, and an absolute pleasure to coach. Congratulations on a great month Madelyn!
BU13 Premier, Jack Butland, PSC

Jack's work ethic and attention to detail in training has been paying off in some
great performances for his U13 PSC team. Jack’s ability to control the pass, make the right play
and get forward to goal makes Jack a threat every time he is on the ball. Jack's finishing has him
currently leading the PYL in goals. Jack recently helped the U13 NLSA provincial team win the
Bronze medal in Moncton NB in a penalty shoot out Vs P.E.I. Jack is looking forward to a strong
second half of the season and will continue to lead his team by example and passion for the
game of soccer.
GU13 Championship - Chloe Combden, CBS

Chloe is a huge part of the CBS GU13 team, with a booming shot and a knack for defense.
Whether it's scoring a key goal while playing striker or shutting down the opposition on the
back end, Chloe is a force on both ends of the field! Her two goals in June, coupled with two
prior goals in May has put her in the thick of the scoring race, which is pretty amazing, given
that she plays the high majority of each game as a defender. Her hard work and determination,
along with her love of the game is paving the way for a great season.
BU13 Championship - Nathan Roul, BPSA

With his finishing touch, Nathan has been a perilous striker for his team this month leading the
BU13 CL league in goals. His combination of strength, skill, and finishing ability makes him a
challenge to defend while on the field. With his hard work and dedication to the sport, and his
keen knowledge of the game, Nathan’s eagerness to excel can be seen every time he laces his
boots. Nathan would like to thank his BPSA teammates, coaching staff, and the coaches within
his NLSA U12 program whom he gives credit for his overall success.
GU15 Championship - Emily French, PCSP

Emily’s strength is balanced with her calm demeanor. She is a versatile player that while often
is relied upon to play a more defensive role, always enjoys stepping up into a midfielder
position to take her chance at getting a ball on the net. June was her month to shine!
BU15 Championship - Michael Kavanagh, SJSC

Michael is a quiet leader on the team. His attitude at both practice and in game has set an
excellent example. In June, Michael scored four goals for SJSC in key moments. In particular, he
has an outstanding record with free kicks and has blistering pace on his shot. Of note were his
two long range strikes against MPSA to break the tie. The team appreciates all his
contributions!
GU15 Premier - Avery Strong, PSC

Avery is a midfielder and striker with the U15 PYL team for the Paradise Soccer Club. Over the
six games this season she has been the league's most prolific goal scorer, netting ten times
including a hat trick in a recent game vs CBS in June. She is a strong and talented player who
has a hunger for putting the ball in the back of the net. On the field she is highly skilled, and
shows great awareness of her teammates, and the attacking options available. Avery works
exceptionally hard on the field, and truly is a defender's worst nightmare with her intelligent
running and constant movement. Over the last few years, she has been a key member of the
NLSA squad, and was most recently involved in NL's Bronze medal success at the Atlantic
Championships in Gander at the end of June.

Luke Fahey had a strong performance in the month of June for the U15 Paradise Soccer Club
Premier league team. Luke is a creative attacking midfield player who is highly skilled in one vs.
one duels. Luke is unpredictable during attacking play, possesses speed with the ball and has a
keen tactical awareness to support and assist his teammates for scoring opportunities. Luke is
also very effective on defensive transition and is recognized for his strong work ethic to win the
ball back during challenges. You can see Luke's passion and love for the game every time he
plays. PSC had a busy month in June with seven games. PSC had five wins and Luke contributed
eight goals to his team.
GU17 Premier - Sienna Dillon, PSC
Sienna is a two footed midfielder who has had a strong start to the summer season. She is
known to cover extensive ground in midfield and can deliver accurate short and long passes, as
well as an excellent shooting and finishing range, showcasing her strong technical skills. Her

played.
BU18 Championship - Zachary Nolan, PSC
