NLSA Announces Resignation of President and Appointment of New Leadership

Sep. 22, 2023

Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association today announces the resignation of Damian Masterson, who has served as President of our organization since April 2022.

As per the bylaws of the association, the current Vice-President, Chris Bartlett, is now appointed as President and Heather Stamp Nunes is appointed as Vice-President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association and both will serve in that position until the next Annual Meetings of the members.

Chris brings a wealth of experience in soccer management and a deep commitment to the growth and development of our association. He has served in various capacities within the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association and has a clear vision for the future of our organization.

Heather, as Vice-President, will work closely with Chris to support our strategic initiatives and oversee day-to-day operations.

Together, they will provide the leadership and vision with the support of the board necessary to continue our mission of promoting soccer excellence and community engagement throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

We extend our sincere thanks to Damian for his tenure as President and wish him success in future endeavors.

Chris and Heather are enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead and look forward to working closely with our members, partners, parents, and the soccer community at large.
