2019 Small-Sided Referee Course Dates:
This is a basic officiating course intended for participants aged 12 - 13. Please note that there will be a short exam at the end of the day. It is important to note this course does not qualify an official to referee 11 a side soccer at any level, or to act as an assistant referee at any level. As of 2019, it does not qualify the official to referee small-sided games where the offside law is being applied.
Referees for Under-12 and Under 13 small-sided matches must complete the full Entry Level course.
The intent of this clinic is to introduce officiating to younger referees. The focus of this clinic is to be interactive, introductory and have young referees understand the basic concepts of refereeing.
Note: Candidates aged 14 and over are strongly encouraged to take the full Entry Level Course
Referees who take a Small-Sided referee course will be qualified to referee Under 8 & Under 10.
Please Note: There is a maximum of 30 participants per course. Once a course is full you have the option to have your name put on a waitlist.
