Request for Proposal: Medical Assistance for NLSA Provincial Program

Introduction:

The Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association (NLSA) is a non-profit organization that represents soccer at all levels in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our mission is to promote and develop the game of soccer in a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

As part of our commitment to ensuring the health and safety of our players, the NLSA is seeking proposals from qualified medical providers to provide medical assistance for our players in the provincial program. The selected provider(s) will work with our teams to provide medical coverage during training camps and travel with our teams.

Scope of Services:

The medical provider(s) will be responsible for providing medical assistance during NLSA provincial program training camps and travel with teams. This includes:

1. Medical Coverage: The provider(s) will be responsible for providing medical coverage during all training camps and travel with teams. This includes providing medical assistance for any injuries or illnesses that may occur during these events.
2. Injury Recovery and Treatment: The selected clinic will be the approved and recommended supplier for recovery and treatment of injuries for NLSA players.
3. Availability: The provider(s) must be available to travel with the teams and provide medical assistance.

• April 22-23
• May 6-7
• June 2-3 and 24-25
• Aug 17-18

Travel dates

• Showcase tournament Ontario May 18-21
• Atlantic PEI and Corner Brook July 6-9
• Showcase USA November Dates TBC
• Argentina December TBC

Proposal Requirements:

Interested medical providers must submit a proposal that includes the following:

1. Overview: Provide an overview of your organization, including your experience providing medical assistance to sports teams and your qualifications.
2. Services: Describe the services you will provide, including the number of medical staff that will be available during training camps and games, and the types of equipment and supplies you will provide.
3. Availability: Describe your availability to travel with teams and provide medical assistance.
4. Fees: Provide a detailed breakdown of all fees associated with providing medical assistance for NLSA provincial program training camps and games.
5. References: Provide references from at least two organizations for whom you have provided medical assistance for sports teams.

Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Experience: The provider's experience providing medical assistance to sports teams.
2. Services: The provider's ability to provide comprehensive medical assistance during training camps and games.
3. Availability: The provider's availability to travel with teams and provide medical assistance.
4. Fees: The provider's fees for providing medical assistance for NLSA provincial program training camps and games.
5. References: The provider's references from at least two organizations for whom they have provided medical assistance for sports teams.
