NLSA GOALKEEPER COACH DIPLOMA COURSE

NLSA is very excited to offer coaches the opportunity to attend the GK Diploma Course. 

This 14-hour course will combine theoretical and practical components of GK Coaching.

Components covered include: 

• Principles of Development
• Role of the GK Coach
• Goalkeeping Psychology
• Energy Systems
• Warm Up
• Foot Work and Set Position
• Basic Handling
• Shot Stopping
• GK Session Planning
• Incorporating GK training in the Team Environment

Upon completion, coaches will be awarded the NLSA GK Coaching Diploma Certificate.

(A prerequisite for the Canada Soccer National Youth GK Course)
