U13 Boys - Ryan Mouland, Feildians
Ryan Mouland is a 13 year old player with the Feildians U13 Boys team. He terrorized defences all June month with his pace, power and amazing footwork. Ryan didn’t start playing soccer until U11, but has quickly become one of the best U13 players in the province.
After an excellent June, Ryan started July in spectacular fashion scoring a hat-trick against rivals Mount Pearl.
U13 Girls - Katelyn Murphy, Paradise
Katelyn is an integral part of the Paradise under 13 Girls team. Her work ethic and competitive nature makes her one of the most threatening strikers in the league. She has a natural and effortless scoring mentality which is why she is so dangerous in and around the box. Leading the league with 10 goals in seven games, she is always looking for ways to create scoring opportunities and to get behind defenders. Her passion and dedication to the sport motivates herself and everyone around her to work harder and improve everyday.
U15 Boys Tier 1 - Paris Kahunga, Feildians
Paris Kahunga is a 15-year-old striker/midfielder with the Feildians U15 Boys Tier 1 Team. In June, Paris recorded eight goals in eight games and played an integral role in the success of his team. He is fast and explosive making him a clear standout on the pitch.
U15 Boys Tier 2 - Grayson Hinchey, Feildians
Grayson is a strong, fast and smart 13-year-old player who has worked hard to be confident in various defending/attacking skills. As a team captain and mainly playing in a centre-back position, Grayson takes responsibility to make sure not only defence lines are maintained but also overall team shape. He has the trust of all his teammates and continues to show leadership both on and off the field. Congratulations, Grayson! Way to go!
U15 Girls - Luci Thoms, St. John’s Soccer
Luci Thoms is a 15 year old, right forward player with the St. John’s Soccer Association U15 Girls Rep team.
It there’s one thing that can be said about Luci it is that she comes to play! As a player she has matured, and as such, she was rewarded with 10 goals in the month of June. That being said, there is certainly more to Luci’s game than scoring goals. She is relentless in the attack and in the press against opposing wingbacks. She gives 110% at practice and it shows in the way she plays during games. A true competitor!
U17 Boys Tier 1 - Anyang Achiek, St. John’s Soccer
Anyang is a 16-year-old, midfield/striker player with the St. John’s U17 Boys Rep team. His greatest skill in soccer is his natural ability with the ball at his feet. Anyang is considered by many as the most gifted dribbler of the ball in the U17 Provincial League. This skill gives him the ability to control and/or change a game.
Anyang has been noted, by other coaches in the league, as an incredible on-field player who shows respect to his teammates and his opponents.
U17 Boys Tier 2 - Zander Dillon, CBS
Zander Dillon is a 17 -year-old centre back player with the CBS U17 Tier 2 team. He is noted for his tireless work ethic, his speed and his ability to get his team out of pressure situations with his strong dribbling and passing ability.
Zander is a member of the NLSA Canada Games pool and is a regular callup for That Pro Look Strikers FC in Challenge Cup.
U17 Girls - Isabella Hoddinott, CBS
Isabella Hoddinott plays on the CBS Strikers GU17 PYL soccer team and has been a force so far this season. Her speed and intelligence for the game make her a versatile player in virtually any attacking position - as she has shown with her three goals in just as many games before being sidelined with an ankle injury. Isabella is on the verge of returning and her teammates can’t wait as she is an excellent leader both on and off the field and will no doubt pick up where she left off in helping CBS continue to produce goals.
